Better-than-nutella balls
Makes about 15 balls, dependent on how big you like your balls ;)

1.5 cups hazelnuts
1/2 cup organic dessicated coconut
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean powder or vanilla essence
3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
Pinch of Celtic or Himalayan sea salt
9 medjool dates
2/3 cup sultanas
1/4 cup organic dessicated coconut
1 teaspoon of raw cacao powder
2 tablespoons goji berry powder (optional)

Put all the dry ingredients (except the 1/4 cup of organic dessicated coconut, the 1 teaspoon of raw cacao powder and the goji berry powder) in a food processor. Using the “S” blade, process the dry ingredients until roughly combined. Add the dates and sultanas and process until sticky and well combined. Form the sticky mixture into small balls. Place the 1/4 cup dessicated coconut, the 1 teaspoon of raw cacao powder and the optional 2 tablespoons of goji berry powder on separate plates or on separate areas of a chopping board. Roll one ball over the coconut, the next ball very lightly over the cacao powder and the third ball over the goji berry powder. Repeat until all balls are dusted with their own covering of choice. Put into the fridge and enjoy 1 hour later. Perfect for you, perfect for an Easter gift!

    Yum!! Someone mentioned Nutella the other day and so I started scouring google for raw/vegan nutella recipes. Finally just threw some hazlenuts and carob powder in the blender…it’s ok but missing quite a bit… I’m looking forward to trying this recipe!
