Now it’s time for some Choc Raspberry goodness!

Choc Raspberry Ice Cream (or Ice Cream Soup!)

1/2 cup of frozen raspberries (frozen strawberries or mixed berries would also be lovely)
1/2 an avocado
2 big handfuls of baby spinach leaves
2 tablespoons (or more) of raw cacao powder (or use a mix of carob and cacao or just carob)
1.5 cups of water
2 trays of ice cubes
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 droppers of liquid stevia or about 50 drops (you can use a lot more as this was not overly sweet. You could also use vanilla stevia, chocolate stevia or chocolate raspberry stevia if you like)

Blend all ingredients together until it forms a thick, smooth ice cream consistency. If you don’t have a high powered blender like a Blentec or Vitamix, you might want to add more water. Or try blending in parts.

I actually intended for this to be a much thinner Choc Raspberry soup recipe, but I couldn’t resist the thick ice cream that resulted by using less water! Yum!

You can always get creative and add some cinnamon, some banana, or some coconut chips on top!

If you need to avoid fruit altogether, just use a whole avocado and extra stevia and it will still be an awesome chocolate ice cream or soup.

I definitely recommend you try this one, guys! Let me know what you think of it.

Any exciting plans for your weekend?

Love,
Casey

Hi Casey! Just discovered your blog through the detox community. I love finding fellow detox bloggers! :D

Your ice cream looks delish! I am loving avocados lately, too– and have been making a similar "chocolate pudding" with them! (along with some frozen cherries, which is my favorite variation so far!) Who needs regular ice cream or pudding once you've discovered this stuff??
