Raw Green Curry Soup and Detox and Recipe Classes in Perth

I’m so excited to announce that my much loved Detox 101, Detox 102 and Delicious Detox Recipes classes are back in June! These classes always get a rave response as they are packed with great information, tips you can immediately implement to look and feel better, and a ton of value.

Seriously, this is one of the best things you can do for yourself. The value you receive really is off the charts and I don’t say that lightly!

If you want to learn more about how to detoxify your body gently and effectively (while still living your life and eating plenty!), what to feed your body for optimal energy and a body you feel great in, and what most health practitioners don’t know that could leave you feeling drained of energy, then you will definitely want to come to these classes.

Detox 101 are Detox 102 are both two hour informational classes that give you all the information you need to really make amazing changes in how you feel and look.

Delicious Detox Recipes is a three hour class where a heap of beautiful, fresh, mouth watering recipes are made for you to enjoy, while seeing how to make them for yourself. You will also receive a handout of all the recipes and generous servings to try. Yum! Smile

All three classes are really fun, interactive, intimate and give tons of information. It’s also a chance to ask me your burning questions and have them answered right away for you!

There is nothing like this offered anywhere else in Perth, even Australia, so you really don’t want to miss out on this opportunity.

There are very limited spots for each of the classes so email me (casey AT caseylorraine DOT com) right away if you would like to reserve your spot.

The dates and times for the classes are:

Now I have a raw soup recipe for you!

Raw Green Curry Soup

I love raw soups. I find them refreshing, filling, easily digested and a great way to get more greens into my body.

BUT, and there’s a big but, I couldn’t stand them when I first tried them!

That was many years ago and things have changed greatly, but I will say upfront that if you have never tried a raw soup before or you don’t like clean, green flavours, raw soups may not be the thing for you right now.

With that being said, I really love this soup!

The man and I enjoyed a weekend of mostly raw vegetable juices and soups to give our bodies a bit of a break from digesting. This was definitely my favourite soup over the weekend and Alan didn’t run screaming from it so that is a good sign Winking smile.

It’s getting cold here so I put plenty of warming spices in the soup and it really made it feel like it was heated rather than a cold raw soup. You could certainly heat it until it’s warm on the stove but I didn’t bother. The fabulous curry flavour and kick of the cayenne pepper, garlic and ginger made my insides all toasty.

Raw Green Curry Soup

Ingredients:

4 stalks celery, chopped

1 large zucchini, chopped

2 garlic cloves, chopped (use 1 or less if you don’t love plenty of garlic like I do)

1/2 an avocado

2 spring onions, chopped

1 teaspoon curry powder (or more to taste)

1 tablespoon miso

1/2 teaspoon of fresh ginger, chopped

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or more to taste)

Juice 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lime

Sea salt to taste (I didn’t use any because I included miso but you may want to use some)

Enough water to facilitate blending (about half a cup)

Directions:

Place all ingredients in a a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. If you don’t have a high speed blender, add some extra water little by little to get the blender going.

Garnish with some chopped coriander and a pinch of paprika and eat!
