Are you still holding off on registering for the Total Body Tune Up cleanse because you have been telling yourself you don’t have the time or ability, or that you’ll do it later?

Obviously I’m biased but this program is good. It will help you to get results so if you want results, I really suggest joining us for the fun! It starts in just two days so this is your last chance to get involved. Plus we have no scheduled dates to do this again so at this stage it’s a one time only opportunity.

Although Total Body Tune Up lasts just five days it is no mere short-term detox. My approach is all about setting you up with information and tools you need to make long-term lifestyle changes and get lasting results – all of my programs are designed with this in mind.

It’s not too late to register but you’ll want to do so quickly so I can get the program materials to you. Simply click here to register and get started!

Today I have a recipe to share with you that you could most certainly enjoy during the Total Body Tune Up cleanse. It’s so incredibly simple and delicious. It’s star ingredient is one of my most well loved vegetables – the humble carrot.

You probably know how much I love carrot already. This sweet pudding, this amazing smoothie, this savoury mash, this salad and my favourite Snack Attack Crack show this clearly. No doubt there will be more recipes coming at you in the future with this lovely vegetable Smile. It’s sweetness, density and earthiness lends to so many types of recipes.

In fact, carrot is the only major ingredient in this smoothie! This is awesome if you are food combining as it will go with almost everything. It’s also very quick and easy to make and you probably already have all these ingredients at home now – score!

Now get into your kitchen and make it. I challenge you Winking smile.

Simple Carrot Smoothie

Ingredients:

4 small to medium carrots

1/5 cup water from steaming

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Pinch cloves

1/8 teaspoon ginger (powder)

2 droppers of vanilla stevia (you can email me to purchase)

1 tray of ice (or more to desired temperature)

Directions:

Steam the carrots until just soft.

Place the ingredients in a blender with the water first, then carrot and spices. Add the ice and blend well. Taste the smoothie and adjust your sweetness and spices. I like this recipe a little cold so I added 1.5 trays of ice but even a handful of ice is enough.

Serve and enjoy right away!

How easy is that?!

What’s the most simple recipe you make that totally hits the spot for you? Let me know below and we can all enjoy it! Smile

I bet with a splash of coconut or almond milk and a mix of carob and cacao powder, this would be even more delicious :) I’m gonna give this a try actually :) xxx

Kat you read my mind! I actually planned to make it with coconut milk and didn’t have any on hand and I must say I love the simplicity and lightness of this without the extras. The choc or carob would of course be lovely too. Enjoy :)

Hi Casey! ummm…I’m a raw fooder (thought you were?) and you can totally make a carrot smoothie without steaming the carrots (just chop up small) and without ice cubes. I sometimes put carrots in my green smoothie too. aside from that, it sounds good, with the spices and all.

Hi Terra, thanks for stopping by.
I eat a mostly raw diet and I also enjoy cooked veggies. For most people this works best.
I have made this raw too and I prefer it lightly steamed. The key is to eat it after a big salad for better digestion.

I am a Diabetic, and Im not sure about this as yet.

      Hi Lynn,
Small amounts of cooked carrots should be perfectly fine for you unless you are having lots of other sugars in your diet – then I would cut those out.

I love this pudding(making almost daily since I have found the similar one in your blog) and no it is not the same with raw carrot. When I steam carrot it get sweeater and much more better for this recipe. I also put agar agar base to this and it was so good so thick Thank you so much for it, love it

  7. michaela says:

I use only about 1-2 TB (when I put 4 carrots 1 tb when 8 carrots 2,5TB) It really depend how much thick you want to have it, but it helps with consistency a lot. I have tried irish moss too, but I can taste that see wead in my pudding so could not eat it( I have taste of seaweed) Agar works great for me since it has no taste hope it is ok with detox too:-) It is ok to eat agar daily in small amount?
